Programme Introduction




1. The Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF) is pleased to invite all our members to this Seminar on Work-Life Harmony on 15 Jan 2010. In collaboration with the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS), we have invited speakers to share how you as an employer can educate employees on adjusting and adapting with the current uncertainty of the economy.

2. In extraordinary economic times like these, Work-Life challenges not only continue to exist but may become more acute. The ever-changing economy brings about a different and more challenging set of individual and organisational Work-Life issues to contend with. It is important to adjust our Work-Life antenna so that it resonates with the times.

3. At the seminar, you will learn valuable tips as to how to better manage your Work-life harmony:

a. Learn how to achieve greater work-life effectiveness with self-leadership.
b. Get tips on how we can work on our habits and attitudes for personal growth and success.
c. Find out how we can purposefully establish strong bonds and harmonious relationships.
d. Gather learning tips from the key findings of Hewitt’s Best Employer in Singapore 2009 study.

4. About the Speakers:

Helen leads a dedicated team with a strong focus on flexibility with accountability for results. A Certified Management Consultant, Helen has over 15 years of experience working with industry and corporate partners in national initiatives and organization development strategies across varied sectors. She is also a recognized Work-Life Consultant and Certified Master Coach, passionately involved as a resource speaker at numerous conferences on work-life strategies and training of consultants. Also a Certified Partner of Inscape Publishing Group, Helen is authorized to certify and coach industry practitioners on applications of psychometric tools.

Wendy is a Consultant with the Hewitt’s Talent Consulting Team based in Singapore. She manages projects related to talent management and possesses extensive experience in competency framework development, behavioral-based interviews, Performance Management System and conducting employee engagement studies for public and private organizations. Hewitt Associates provides leading organizations around the world with expert human resources consulting and outsourcing solutions to help them anticipate and solve their most complex benefits, talent, and related financial challenges.

1. Please fax registration form to reserve a seat. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Admission shall be allowed only upon presentation of confirmation from SNEF (i.e. confirmation stamp on the registration form).

2. The amount is inclusive of 7% GST and the seat confirmation is on first-come-first-serve basis.

3. For paying participants, please enclose cheque payable to “SNEF”, indicating your contact details, organization and the event name in the reverse side of cheque. Mail the cheque to SNEF, 19 Tanglin Road, #10-01/07, Tanglin Shopping Centre, S(247909).

4. If you have registered and unable to attend the briefing, please inform SNEF at least one day before the event, otherwise we will charge the non-member fee for your reservation.

5. SNEF reserves the full right to cancel, refund or make adjustments to the event.
