Programme Introduction

1. Have you wondered why industrial accidents and near misses still happen at your workplace, despite having a safety system in place? Have you been trying to raise your company’s safety performance, but it seems it has reached a plateau?

2. Let Workplace Safety & Health Advisory Committee (WSHAC), together with companies who have a history of strong OSH culture, share with you some of the possible reasons for this safety performance stagnation. You will also be provided with some pointers on how you can initiate a WSH cultural change within your company.

3. The Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF) with the support of Workplace Safety & Health Advisory Committee (WSHAC) has organised this educational and exciting half-day seminar on 31st January 2008, Thursday, from 1.30 to 5.30pm (registration starts at 1.00pm) at the auditorium of Health Promotion Board, 3 Second Hospital Avenue, to share with employers about building an OSH culture in the company. In this seminar we will share with you these topics:

• Building OSH Culture in Organisation
• OSH Culture Revolution
• Impact of OSH in Business
• bizSAFE Programme

4. We would like to invite your senior management staff (CEO, MD or GM level), plus one other to attend this FREE half-day seminar which will be held 31st January 2008. At the end of the seminar we hope that participants will have a changed mindset on OSH, and bring back useful pointers to enhance the OSH culture in your organisation.

5. We would also appreciate it if you could register your participants (stating name and designation) with us by emailing to SNEF at: recep@snef.org.sg before 17th January 2008.
