Programme Introduction




1. Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF), National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) and Ministry of Manpower (MOM) are pleased to present the 9th Tripartite IR Seminar. This annual seminar will enable employer representatives to discuss with MOM and NTUC officials how we can develop a strong social partnership and tripartism to tackle the workplace challenges we face. Your participation will help shape the social compact.

2. The objectives of this seminar are:

a. To provide a platform to discuss and exchange views on current IR issues with senior leaders from NTUC, MOM and SNEF.

b. To provide a platform for participants to interact and mingle to exchange views and share insights with the tripartite partners so as to strengthen tripartism.

3. All members are encouraged to attend, as you will be hearing some best practices implemented by companies, and will receive up-to-date information on the operational changes. Members will also have the opportunity to provide feedback on their concerns in an active dialogue session following the presentations.
