The SAF Warrant Officers and Specialists Corps are a group of highly trained, well disciplined, motivated and dedicated individuals. With many years of experience operating some of the most sophisticated weapons, equipment, vehicles and IT systems, handling projects and operations of varied scales and complexities as well as in the fore-front of leading, supervising, coaching and training soldiers under their charge, they have mastered valuable skill sets and are experts in their respective fields be it operations, engineering, logistics, security safety, administration, etc. Some of their skill sets include leadership, strategic planning, resource optimization, project managing, contingency planning, scheduling, coordinating, curriculum development and delivering instructions. Having worked under military environment has equipped them to be highly resilient and able to work under challenging situations. Now transiting from the SAF to a second career, these men seek employment that can utilize their skills, and to further learn to contribute effectively to the growth of their new employer.
There will be about 250 personels transiting and their age range is from 25 to 54 years old.
This seminar also aims to provide opportunities for these personnel to network and interact with potential employers who have job vacancies that require their competencies and skills sets.
Please note employers attending the seminar should have a significant number of mid-level vacancies available. (i.e. about 5 or more positions)
