Programme Introduction




1. Further to the IRAS’ press release on 20 Jun 2008 on the Auto-Inclusion Scheme, Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF) and SBF are pleased to organize the first briefing on the Auto-Inclusion Scheme for Employment Income.

2. The scheme was first introduced in 1998 where employers transmit details of employment income (IR8A/ IR8S/ Appendix 8A/ Appendix 8B) to IRAS electronically. About 6,300 employers have joined the scheme, benefiting more than 1 million employees. From the Year of Assessment 2009 (income for year 2008), employers with 100 or more employees are required to file employment income electronically. The e-Submission of Employment Income application is a new e-service introduced by IRAS. It is a web-based application and employers can transmit electronically details of IR8A, IR8S, Appendix 8A and Appendix 8B to IRAS directly.

3. IRAS’ Officers will give an overview of the Auto-Inclusion Scheme and how to use the e-Submission of Employment Income Application.

4. All SNEF members are encouraged to attend the briefing! Register now before it’s too late!

1. Please fax registration form to reserve a seat. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Admission shall be allowed only upon presentation of confirmation from SNEF (i.e. confirmation stamp on the registration form).

2. The amount is inclusive of 7% GST and the seat confirmation is on first-come-first-serve basis.

3. Please enclose cheque payable to “SNEF”, indicating your contact details, organization and the event name in the reverse side of cheque. Mail the cheque to SNEF, 19 Tanglin Road, #10-01/07, Tanglin Shopping Centre, S(247909).

4. If you have registered and unable to attend the briefing, please inform SNEF at least one day before the event, otherwise we will charge the non-member fee for your reservation.

5. SNEF reserves the full right to cancel, refund or make adjustments to the event.

6. Due to limited parking within the DBS premises ($2.00+ per ˝ hr), you may wish to park at the next parking premises at UIC Building (opposite DBS Building) at parking rate - ($2.20 per ˝ hr).
