Programme Introduction




1. A Skills Development Levy is required by law under the Skill Development Levy Act .The levy collected is channeled into the Skills Development Fund, which is used by the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) to incentivise employers to send their workers for training.

2. Incentives are offered on the basis of a cost-sharing principle and the training must be relevant to the economic development of Singapore.

3. Due to overwhelming response from the 1st briefing on 4 September 2007 and for those who have earlier missed the briefing, SNEF has invited speakers from WDA once again to give our members an overview of the SDF and an introduction to training assistance available to employers.

4. Limited to first 200 participants only, so please register early to avoid disappointment!
