Age-Friendly Employment Practices

The Age-Friendly Employment Practices is prepared by the Tripartitie Committee on Employability of Older Workers to help employers maximise the potential of an ageing workforce. It is designed to assist business owners, CEOs, managers and human resource practitioners to engage this significant and vital segment of the workforce. This guide outlines a range of practical measures for all employers to consider, and documents some of the best practices that companies have implemented in six areas:

(1) Recruitment;
(2) Remuneration and Benefits;
(3) Job Redesign and Automation;
(4) New Work Arrangements;
(5) Re-employment Policy; and
(6) Managing Career Transitions.

The Age-Friendly Employment Practices is now available online.
