 Member Relations (MR)

The Member Relations Department is the first point of contact for member companies on their various queries on the services provided by the SNEF secretariat. In support of SNEF's mission to be the vanguard of all employers in Singapore, the MR dept ensures a strong representation of employers profile and continually looks into the enhancement of SNEF services' and its quality of services.





To keep members up-to-date on employment related issues, the MR dept organises monthly free briefings to provide member companies with first hand news on any changes to employment regulations, implementation of new policies and tripartite recommendations. The MR department also organise regular conferences and seminars on pertinent HR and IR issues which include our very own SNEF employer Delegates (SEEDS) conference and the ACES
(Assembly of Chief Executives) event.

 Industrial Relations (IR) Consulting Group


The SNEF Industrial Relations Consulting Group has a team of experienced Senior Consultants servicing our member companies. These Consultants are specialists in their fields and members can expect sound advice and reliable information that will help put them on the track towards better labour relations. Our Industrial Relations Consultants are the only external consultants that can represent your company at the Ministry of Manpower in conciliation and arbitration matters. Upon joining SNEF, each member company is assigned a consultant for dealing with issues pertaining to union management relations and human resource management.

 People Performance Group

 

The SNEF People Performing Group focuses on people-centered performance approach that is linked to organisational performance. It assists companies in the design and implementation of pay and benefits programs.

 Research Institute

The SNEF Research Institute undertakes research on various labour/employment related matters and conducts surveys to provide employers with timely and relevant information to make informed decisions.



Broadly, the research covers issues concerning industrial relations and human resource management. The Institute also provides economic and employment data to assist member companies keep abreast of developments in labour/employment issues, both locally and globally. Other HR-related research/survey findings are usually given free to member survey participants or released during seminars and industry group meetings.

 Training Institute

The SNEF Training Institute comprises the Corporate Training Centre and Executive Development Centre.
Corporate Training Centre (CTC)
The objective of the centre is to help companies to train up their employees to achieve their business goals. It does this by orgainising programmes and courses which are customised to suit the specific needs of companies. The centre draws on the expertise of a large pool of professional trainers and consultants to deliver these programmes.




Executive Development Centre (EDC) The EDC offers programmes/seminars to help CEOs and Senior Executives lead the process of continuous improvement in their organisations.

EDC partners with reputable foreign institutions to organise programmes using faculty members who are at the leading edge of research and practices.
