The Singapore National Employers Federation is a union of nearly 2,000 companies. As a tripartite partner we work closely with the Ministry of Manpower and the National Trades Union Congress to shape labour policies, make recommendations as well as help companies to implement measures to meet manpower challenges over the long term.
As our membership of companies continues to increase we are expanding our team.
We are looking for suitably qualified candidates to join us as:
| 1.
SENIOR CONSULTANT (INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS), for Manufacturing sector |
You will advise companies on the proper implementation of employment regulations and tripartite guidelines on wages and re-employment, amongst others. You will also conduct training as well as undertake consultancy projects when necessary.
Qualifications
- A good degree and a practicing manager in HRM or Industrial Relations
- At least 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must be familiar with labour laws, tripartism and tripartite guidelines
Suitable candidates without the relevant experience will be appointed first as Consultant.
| 2.
EXECUTIVES (INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS/HRM) |
You will undertake relevant research for different industries, organize events, administer projects and support consultants in assisting companies to implement measures to address labour challenges.
Qualifications
- A good degree in any discipline with a strong interest in HRM issues
- Has good awareness of current labour challenges
- Good administrative skills
You will market our range of courses to companies, and provide the necessary logistics and administrative support.
Qualifications
- A good degree in any discipline and has good awareness of current training needs in organizations
- Must be familiar with SDF, SRP and training guidelines by WDA
- Good administrative skills
| 4.
CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICER (TRAINING) |
You will need to provide service and support to customers, manage the hotline and attend to scheduling of training courses, logistics and customer enquiries, co-ordinate and support sales and marketing activities.
Qualifications
- GCE "N" or "O" Levels or ESS WPLN Level 4
- Good administrative skills
(a) You will assist companies to redesign work to employ persons with disabilities. You will also be required to reach out to persons with disabilities.
(b) You will assist companies to redesign their HR system to employ workers on flexitime.
Qualifications
- A Degree in any discipline or a diploma with at least 3 years of relevant experience
- An understanding of the challenges facing employers in staff recruitment and retention
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
You will join snef and be seconded to the fair employment centre to help employers implement fair employment practices.
Requirements
You should have a good understanding of HR practices and be able to work with the management of companies to influence them to support best practices. A good degree plus at least 5 yrs in HR.
